    OVERVIEW:

    Provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, field labor, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Superintendent is also responsible for short term scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety.

    MUST HAVES:

    • Have at least 5+ years of construction leadership experience highly preferred (lead carpenter, crew foreman, or superintendent).

    • Be organized and able to work with project managers to build project schedules and keep the schedules.

    • Be able to interact respectfully with clients and architects.

    • Be able to read blue prints.

    • Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; develops realistic action plans.

    • Be able to document daily activities with appropriate written communication skills.

    • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.

    OVERVIEW:

    The Project Manager takes ownership of a project and is ultimately responsible for seeing it through to its successful completion, including meeting its goals, timeline and budget. The Project Manager is the direct communication link between all the stakeholders. The Project Manager must have special skills in conflict resolution, be creative and flexible, and have the ability to adjust rapidly to changes.

    MUST HAVES:

    • 3+ years of experience running high end residential custom home builds highly preferred.

    • Be able to provide direction and resolve problems among 30+ subcontractors and vendors.

    • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.

    • Must be able to read plans and specifications.

    • Endurance and ability to visit entire jobsite, including stairs or other elevated structures.

    • Working knowledge of and communication skills to effectively use cell phones, computers, emails, Sage, Procore, Excel, MS Project, digital cameras etc.

    • Manage difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.

    • Focuses on solving conflict, NOT blaming; maintains confidentiality; listens without interruptions; keeps emotions under control; remains open to new ideas.     OVERVIEW:

    The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting a project team (Project Manager, Project Superintendent, Production Manager, and select trade partners) in a variety of administrative and project related tasks. The Project Engineer will be expected to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as assigned tasks may vary on a day-to-day basis. The goal of the position is to provide an opportunity to develop project management skills under the supervision of more experienced team members with the long-term goal of moving in to a Project Manager or Superintendent role in the future.

    MUST HAVES:

    • Knowledge and understanding of construction and engineering related processes, as well as industry practices.

    • Knowledge and understanding of the roles and interdependence between the contractor, designer, owner and construction manager.

    • Knowledge, thorough understanding, and management of construction documentation (contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, etc.).

    • Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.

    • Knowledge and understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and quality control.

    • Effective computer skills including proficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and PowerPoint software required, and skills with project management and scheduling database software preferred.

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.

    • Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints a plus.

    • Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, initiative, teamwork and analytical thinking.

    • Commitment to honesty, integrity, quality of work and customer satisfaction.

    • Must possess valid unrestricted California Driver’s license and present proof of insurance.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    Full time position for construction laborer. Duties include digging, demo, site cleanup, and other tasks as assigned by carpenters or superintendent on site.

    MUST HAVES:

    • Clean driving record

    • Reliable car or truck for transportation

    • Proof of US citizenship for I-9 verification

    • Understand English

    • Arrive on time for all shifts

    • Positive attitude and open to direction/feedback
